Warmboard

Warmboard® Radiant Subfloors are an innovative approach to home heating that combines a structural subfloor with a thermodynamic radiant panel in a simple, elegant system. With radiant heat, it doesn’t matter how you arrange your furniture; you’re guaranteed to feel comfortable. Warmboard begins with a subfloor made of high quality plywood with channels cut into the top of the surface. A thick sheet of aluminum is stamped and bonded into each panel and the modularly cut channels. The channels then receive PEX tubing to carry the hot water that comfortably heats your home. Of course, it’s not quite so simple as that, but the staff at Warmboard takes care of the design work by engineering the most efficient layout of the modular panels and the 4’ x 8’ sheets that arrive at your sight. An easy map is provided for your contractor to follow as he or she installs the subfloor of your home while simultaneously installing your heating system. Contractors love the lowered labor cost designed into the product.
